Applying a Player Extra
The Fallback Extra replaces the player with an alternative unit if there is no video ad fulfillment. These alternatives can be either display or player units. The default logic and use case for this extra is to provide a custom HTML code that will replace the Player for an unfilled preroll advertisement opportunity. A common use case is to inject a display advertisement in place of the Player when there is no fulfillment for a preroll advertisement; therefore, not moving on to play the actual video content within the player (a true fallback).
Note: To use this Extra successfully, a Playlist must be inserted into the player. Otherwise, please use Terminating Extra.
